Sunday's BCS bowl annoucements ushered in a quite a storm -- reaching from the Keys to Minnesota's most northern point-- Who will claim the title of the Nation's Top Conference? Will it be the or the Big Ten with its hard-hitting, nose to the grindstone or SEC with its... wait, what do they claim to be so great at?

In honor of this decision, we've decided to create some BIG TEN shirts so our friends at PSU, Indiana, and the rest can share in our support of The Ohio State University when it takes on Florida on January 8.

To rematch or not to rematch?

So, everyone knows that we're The Best, but who comes next? Fanblogs has a debate going ESPN's Bomani Jones had a great article giving 5 reasons defending and arguing against Michigan's call for a rematch. All good points... so, naturally, we're divided on the issue.

If the November result somehow reverses, we would need a third game to break the tie

We will not find a better opponent, or a more exciting game to watch.

The immense popularity of the "Gold Pants shirts" surprises me-- then again, it doesn't. It represents ultimate victory, a great season, and eventually, an invaluable memory.

But, in our opinion, it's also lame and unoriginal.

So, we're introducing our own "gold pants shirts" because, face it _ichigan, we do "wear the gold pants in the relationship."

Thank you to everyone who helped us spread the word yesterday around Campus and beyond. I'm not sure what attracted more attention: Emily's wig or the shirts we decided to wear.

More importantly, thank you to our family and friends for the kick-ass tailgate. Definitely more than adequately prepared us for 4 hours In The Shoe.

Well... I'm sure you are all wondering where we will be prior to kick-off and Script Ohio. We will be at my parents tailgate between the Harrison House (Tall white building, right by Tommys Pizza) and the Party Barn (Big house with Miller Lite Sponsor) or Varsity Club is the next place up. Pick up your six pack, and we'll provide the rest! East of the Harriston house, across the street of the University parking lot, there is a small 2 story brown brick apartment building and we are located in the back parking lot. It will say "private party"- but come on in and join us.
Can't wait to see you in your shirts!

"I can't change my Buckeye outfit!"

We know that some people are superstitious with their Buckeye Day outfits. Both of us are extremely superstitious! We have ours down to a science, and our routine for Buckeye Day (wake up first thing Saturday and call each other wishing them a happy Buckeye Day, followed by a big O-H). We just wanted to let people know that we aren’t trying to change your habits (and definitely don’t want them to change) but instead just bringing more Buckeye cheer on Non-Buckeye Days (which shouldn’t exist, but unfortunately they do :-\ ) So check out the site, and let your Buckeye collection grow! Well, like Kristen said, neither one of us are always close to the Shoe on game day. We try to make it back to Ohio for as many games as possible. But for living in Florida, I think it’s pretty impressive that I’ve gone to two home games this season (Nov 18th makes three!)! However, when I can’t make it back, I find the best place in Tampa to go!

Mugs N Jugs. Yup, I go there every Saturday to watch the Bucks beat up their next victim. It doesn’t sound too impressive, and I myself was a little hesitant. But the minute I walked into that bar/restaurant, I felt like I was at the Varsity Club on Lane (aka Home). Every single person is decked out in Scarlet and Grey, and they are playing all of our favorite buckeye songs throughout the game. I get Goosebumps every time the ENTIRE bar gets up to sing the Buckeye Battle Cry after each touchdown, or when everyone latches arms at the end of a victory to sing Carmen Ohio.

There has been an occasion that we opted out of Mugs N Jugs, and went to the beach and watched the game. Ah, the life!

Since no one in Florida is actually from Florida, you get to see multiple fans from multiple schools. And I’ve been to a couple of these schools so called fan bars, and they don’t even compete with Mugs N Jugs! Ohio State fans are loyal, no matter the distance. Saturday is always Buckeye day!

"And where is your diploma from?"

I've been asked this question quite a few times over the past few years, and very frequently over the past week. Usually with sarcasm and, in my opinion, oftentimes out of envy.

Yes, I graduated from Villanova University. Yes, Mollie graduated from Ohio University. We made it quite clear in our first post that neither of us have attended The Ohio State University. That's the beauty of all of this.

We're fans because we were born this way.

"They value their college football in Columbus like few other cities in the country, and none as large," writes ESPN Insider in its Blue Ribbon Preview of the Buckeyes. "How much does Columbus love the Buckeyes? The school drew a nation-best 63,649 … for its spring game. That's more than several Big Ten schools had for any regular-season game in 2005."

The other irony (or surprise, or beauty): Neither live in Columbus right now. Mollie lives and works in Tampa, FL; My permanent residency is in Philadelphia, PA. Like many fans across the nation, this actually heightens our loyalty, not lessens it. (Tampa fans have an amazing gamewatch. Mollie will share details later.)

We're die hard fans because it joins us together and brings us home.

They call it a 'drinking town with a football problem.' We call it the Best Damn City in the Land. In honor of our love for Columbus, we're designing some shirts. Any suggestions? A few of our ideas will be posted here shortly...

I figured he can't be the only one with some questions, so I'm sharing the answers I gave to a Michigan grad today via email (I only honor his questions because he also holds a higher degree from The Ohio State University):

Q: Is there a way to click on the image and have it make a pop up that is larger, thus easier to read??

A: Yes, you should be able to click on a shirt and it will show a larger version. It's not working? Check your pop-up blocker.

Q: They are quality?

A. Yes, quality. Some higher than others— just check the description.

Q: How long does an order take?

If you order now, you can have your shirts in time for the game this weekend, if you choose 2 day delivery, but it will cost you. Regular ground will get them in time for the big game. Although I’m not sure what you plan to wear…*

*For the record, he's wearing scarlet and grey. Not quite as stupid as you thought.

For a Buckeye blog, we know we're definitely lacking scarlet and grey. In a rush to spread the word, we decided to sidestep the design and work on it later. In due time, the blog will look just as good- or better- than our shop. We just couldn't wait to share our shirts, and Tressel knows the big game won't wait for us!

Speaking of that game, I absolutely love this picture. Would anyone else buy a shirt with it screened on the back if I bought the rights to the photo?

Great news-- we have our tickets! For the small price of $1000, these two scarlet ladies will be IN THE SHOE on November 18. No sarcasm here: $1000 is a great deal this year by ebay standards. But let's be honest, can two 23-year-olds fresh out of college, paying rents and car leases for the first time in their lives, really afford to drop $500 on a whim?

Eh, we say it's worth it. How often do you get the chance to see the Game of the Century?

Here's the story of two fans: Mollie and Kristen were born in Columbus, Ohio and raised by sports lovers. Among, yet above, other teams, Jerry, Debbie, Tim and Mary are loyal to Buckeye football. Although neither of their favorite daughters chose The Ohio State University for their own education, all follow the buckeyes religiously and now worship Jim Tressel as their God.

In 2002, Mollie and Kristen went down to the shoe parking lot on Nov. 23 to tailgate with Jerry, Debbie and the rest of Mollie's family and their friends. This was the day all OSU fans nervously anticipate all year. Tickets are bought before the clock ticks down on last year's game. Every 'even' year, the team from up north and all their Dilusional Football Fans travel into dangerous territory for -- what we can only hope and pray for-- a Buckeye victory and a pass to a BCS bowl.

Long story, short: We find ourselves shotgunning beers five minutes before kickoff of the game of the year in a last ditch attempt at a sufficient buzz that might last until halftime.

If you're a fan, you remember every big play, resulting touchdowns, and final score. For us, it was the best day of our lives, thus far. Something we can never relive, but is worth an attempt at recreating... so, we're asking for your help!
